Cspace (Customer Space)

Cspace is an abbreviation for Customer Space. This gives you an overview of your cidaas instances and provides functionalities to manage them, e.g., create a new instance, invite new people to your instance, see the latest version, etc., or even access your support tickets. You can get information about instance updates, release notes, or scheduled maintenance activities.

If you're new here, the first thing to do would be to create an account so that you (and your development team) can configure and administer cidaas.

After you log in to the Cspace, you will see your instances assigned to your company, with

Instance OverviewThe instance overview displays the instances assigned to your company.
ConfigurationEach instance will show a configuration button. After clicking on this you will see the details of your instance
Admin UIBeside the Configuration Button, you will also find the Admin UI button, which will redirect you to the admin dashboard of this particular instance.

Cspace/manage user

Once you click on the manage user, you are directed to the group selection page, wherein you can select the desired group and invite or manage the users in the group.

Manage the user

When you click on the manage user icon, you will find the list of users in the group with their details.

Click on edit profile, here you can manage the user profiles like the name of the user, groups and roles , user consents, and get the user activites.

Invite the user

At last, it is worth checking how to invite another user or team member to this Cspace.

When you click on the Invite user icon, you will find USER ACCOUNTS / CREATE USER screen.

  • Type your email ID and check; if it exists in our system, you can invite directly; otherwise, you need to fill out a form as below.

Designated Roles

Here's a table differentiating permissions for Customer, Plan (Commercial), and Instance, along with a short description for each:

Beside of that, there are overall roles, that allow the management of members for the above groups

Member AdderHas the permission to add new members to a group or system, ensuring proper onboarding and access provisioning.
Member InviterSimilar to Member Adder, but focuses on inviting new members to join a group or system, often through sending invitations or requests.
Group AdminManages the overall group settings, permissions, and members, ensuring the group operates smoothly and adheres to its policies.
Member UpdaterResponsible for updating member information, such as contact details, roles, or other pertinent data to keep records accurate and current.

Hierarchy view

When you click on the Hierarchy icon, you will find the family tree of the group members.

Good to know

Admin Dashboard. Only users with the Group Administrator authorization can access it. You have this role and are therefore a “delegated administrator”.

The roles “MEMBER_UPDATER”, “MEMBER_ADDER”, “MEMBER_INVITER”, “GROUP_ADMIN” are roles of the Group Admin Dashboard, which you can use to control whether someone is allowed to see users at all, and also to invite or update them.

The roles relating to the Cspace are “Contact”, “Ticket Reporter”, “Commercial Admin”, “Technical Admin”. Contact is informed about changes.

You can opt for a new plan, or you can view the existing plans of cidaas and choose the best plan for your used case.

Communications

You can view current maintenance plans and disruptions in cidaas to plan your workflow accordingly.

Releases

You can view cidaas recent releases and updates here. Release notes that contains information on improvement, fixes and new features.
