Overview​

cidaas provides interconnected hosted pages that handle the complete password management workflow: Reset Password, Password Change, and Successful Password Change. Together they enable secure password updates through both administrator-initiated and self-service flows.

When these pages appear:

  • After an administrator resets a user's password
  • After a user completes a self-service password reset via the forgot-password flow
  • After a user changes their password from their account settings

Configuring password hosted pages​

Password hosted pages are included automatically when you map a hosted page group to your app. The available pages are Reset Password, Password Change, Forgot Password, and Successful Password Change.

Successful Password Change​

Shown when the password is changed successfully.

Set Password​

The user receives a temporary password by email after registration, enters it, and is directed to the password reset page to set a new password.

Reset Password​

After clicking Reset password, the user is directed to the login page and can sign in with the new password.

Forgot Password​

The user starts a reset via the Forgot password link, verifies their registered email, and sets a new password.

Clicking Back to login redirects the user to the login page to sign in with the new password.
