Overview

The Device Success hosted page is a confirmation screen displayed after a user successfully logs in through a device (TV, mobile, tablet, etc.).

When it appears

After the user completes Device Code Flow authorization in the browser (valid user_code, then authz—with login only if no acceptable cidaas session exists)
After other device-related flows that route to this hosted page ID (for example device verification or MFA setup), depending on app configuration

URL parameters after Device Code Flow

For Device application type, a successful redirect to this page is typically the configured hosted URL without access_token, id_token, or other token parameters in the query or fragment. Tokens are delivered to the constrained device through device-code token polling, not through the browser URL.

If the user never gets a valid session, they remain on login or MFA hosted pages until they authenticate or cancel—they are not sent to this page until authz completes or fails with a redirect to the configured redirect_uri (device_success_page).

Configure the Device Success Hosted Page

The Device Success hosted page is included automatically when you map a hosted page group to your device app. After a successful login you will see the screen below.
