Consent Hosted Page

Hosted page Consent Trustdesk 4.x

Overview

Consent hosted pages inform users about data collection, processing, and sharing, and let them grant or deny permission for specific data usage. They support transparency, user control, and compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.

Consent pages appear when user permission is required, for example during account creation (terms of service, privacy policy), authentication (third-party access, new permissions, updated policies), or profile changes (additional data collection, feature opt-ins, marketing preferences).

Pre-requisites

Create a consent group and version in Trustdesk before configuring consent on hosted pages — see Consents.

Consents are attached to your application through its User Setup (Consent References).

1
Open the app
In Trustdesk, go to Integrations → Applications and open the application you want to configure.
2
User Setup tile
Open the User Setup tile assigned to the application.
3
Add consents
Add the required consents under Consent References (consents are defined under Consents), then save.

What the user sees

After authenticating successfully, the user accepts the consents.
