Custom pages

Overview

cidaas custom pages are a special feature developed for cidaas admins to share any secure page or document with their community with role-based access. These custom pages will then be available in the cidaas admin dashboard (under the Custom pages menu) and are viewed based on their roles.

About

The custom pages feature in cidaas allows you to load a custom URL into cidaas-admin-ui with role-based restrictions on the page. The configured custom page will load inside cidaas admin dashboard and can be accessed only by users / admins who have the specified roles.

For example:

Assume a customer has multiple secondary admins with different roles, such as billing admin, stock admin, and so on. Let us say the billing admin wants to access the billing reports and wants to do some filtering in the report, where the reports page (custom UI) is already secured with a cidaas token. 

Now, instead of having to log in again to that particular page in a separate portal, the billing admin (who is already logged in to the admin UI) can use the same token to view the reports page inside the admin portal itself.   Thus, the Custom Page feature can avoid 

  • Effort to create/develop multiple pages in the cidaas admin dashboard, based on the requirements of admins with different roles.

  • Avoiding multiple logins for admins to different portals.

    Note: This feature is configured and used by cidaas admins only

Configure custom pages

  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Custom Pages , and click on Create Custom Page.

  2. Enter the fields as instructed and click on Save.

  • Admin can also edit the fields by clicking on the edit icon.

Go to Dashboard > Custom pages.
