cidaas has a default hash mechanism selected. However, cidaas allows you to define the hashing algorithm based on your customer needs.

The supported hash procedures are mainly for migration operations to transfer hashed passwords. You can configure the hashing algorithm that best suits your security requirements and compliance needs. When newer procedures are published, you can evaluate and adopt them according to your preferences.
